We had an excellent dinner. Service was a tad on the slow side, but not so much that it was annoying. The flavor of the dishes was super and the presentation was lovely. We each started with a Bloody Mary - a little stout for our tastes butt he waitress happily brought us a small carafe of mixer to add to ours. We had the Croque Monsieur Egg rolls, which were really good. Yes, "just ham and cheese" but it was *good* ham and cheese and the blueberry Dijon Kewpie mayo (sounded weird but tasted amazing) was the perfect compliment. For dinner we ordered the two specials, a steak and lamb chops. Had we not been in public I would have picked those little lamb ribs clean! No room for dessert. In fact, the steak was big enough that we are having steak and cheese omelettes for breakfast and a steak salad for lunch.

Glad we finally enjoyed a date night at Maurice. We started with two wonderful drinks - I think ginger peach and rosey something (yum!..grapefruit flavored). We got the Fiji roll and egg roll for appetizers. Both were delicious, but the sushi especially. Dinner rolls - delicious! Entrees..we were a little disappointed, as the presentation was beautiful but lacked flavor. I had the salmon in filo dough served over breaded and fried mashed potatoes? The salmon was *very* bland, as were the potatoes, but I loved the concept and crunch to them. Even with the coconut curry sauce the meal just didn't do it for me. My husband ordered the pork chop which he said was cooked perfectly but not flavorful. His mashed potatoes were supposed to be horseradish cheddar, but definitely were not and just very bland. We split the cheesecake for dessert and it was excellent! Food service was a bit slow, though our waitress was wonderful and checked on us frequently. Drinks and appetizers came out fairly quick but the entrees took a long time. We were there about 2hr 20 min total but the time together was nice, so it wasn't a big deal. I would still definitely return for the drinks, sushi and cheesecake, and would like to try their brunch menu.

The Maurice restaurant is very nice, with lovely decor and lighting. Chris, our server, was amazing! He suggested the shrimp cake, and it was fantastic. My dad ordered the pork chop and reported that it also was delicious. If I had a complaint it would be that I wish there was more parking. But not a big deal, I parked a couple of blocks away at OBS and walked over. By the way, their sister restaurant Kuchi, on the same property is also really good. Highly recommend either!

Beautiful & delicious food! Our first time was a delightful experience - from the generous and incredibly well presented sushi rolls, to the entrees and dessert our taste buds and our eyes were treated to an amazing array of enticements. The service was also very good. We'll done chef...

This place did not disappoint. A little ways out of the way but well worth it if your looking for excellent food and service. Pricey, but we're talking everything done right. Our starter was the bacon wrapped scallop on top a carrot puree with a smokiness infused, just amazing. The chefs special of stuffed lobster loaded with crab meat and a real key-lime pie for dessert. My husband had the Virginia crab cake that is huge full of nothing but crab and spiced goodness. Followed with a hazelnut, pistachio something, something layered cake that was amazing too. I did dive into my lobster before taking a photo, It looked really good. There is this creamy golden topping...it's just really good. I highly recommend finding this place if high quality is what your in the mood for.
